Before we start the localization process, we provide our clients with globalization advices and techniques. Globalization is the process of preparing a product or a service for localization. Globalizing a product or a service should be your first step in the localization process.

LGT Solutions has its own unique process of handling and managing projects that need to be localized. Here are the different stages of the life cycle of any localization project at LGT Solutions:

  • Globalization and Verification
    When we receive the files from clients, we verify their validity before we start  working on them and if we have any query, we contact the client right before we  start the localization process.
  • Analysis
    We analyze the files and figure out the number of words, segments and matches. We then base our timelines and costs on the efforts needed to complete the project.
  • Preparation
    We prepare the files and mark up the text in a way that allow translators to translate the text that needs to be translated without modifying the original code of the file.
  • Translation
    Translate the files into the target language(s).
  • Publishing
    Formatters work on the files and make them look like the source files.
  • Quality Assurance
    Report all inaccuracies or defects.
  • Verification and validation
    Finalizing the files.
  • Delivery
    Delivering the files to back to the client.
